Before you commit

Is there a setup fee or a long-term contract?
No setup fee and no annual lock-in on monthly plans. You pay month to month and cancel with 30 days notice. Annual plans are billed upfront and include the 20% discount, with a prorated refund available in the first 60 days if you change your mind.
What practice management software does Vet AI connect to?
We integrate with Cornerstone, Avimark, Shepherd, ezyVet, and NaVetor at launch. Integrations with IDEXX Neo and ImproMed are in beta. If your PIMS is not on the list, contact us. Most new integrations take four to six weeks to build and we prioritize by demand.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
You get full Practice plan access for 14 days with no credit card required. At the end of the trial you choose a plan and add billing, or your account simply closes. Data is deleted within 30 days if you do not continue. No cancellation calls, no pressure.
Is Vet AI HIPAA compliant?
Vet AI operates under veterinary practice data standards. For Enterprise customers who need a formal Business Associate Agreement and HIPAA documentation package, both are available at no extra charge as part of the Enterprise plan.
Can I upgrade or downgrade plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are prorated for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Everything is self-serve in the billing dashboard with no account manager required.
Does the AI draft summaries automatically or does staff trigger them?
Both modes are available on all plans. Auto-draft fires the moment an appointment is marked complete in your PIMS. Staff review the draft and send with any edits in under 60 seconds. If you prefer manual control, drafts are generated only on request. You configure the mode in settings and can switch at any time.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export all patient communication records and templates as a CSV or PDF bundle before cancelling. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
