Graduated ideas
Products that started in the Wishdeal Factory catalog and graduated to their own domain.
Case study: Anatomy of a graduation - what we can see, what we can't, and what catalog products could follow the same pattern →Graduated products
Counsel fields after-hours calls for solo and small law firms, runs the conflict check, and lays a draft retainer on the founder's desk by 7am. The product is operating with paying customers and a real growth motion.
What's working: a defined ICP (solo + small-firm legal practices), a clear pain (missed after-hours intake = lost revenue), and a workflow that's been validated by buyers paying for it. The dossier in the catalog still exists for anyone who wants to study what a graduated brief looks like.
What graduation means
A product graduates when:
- It has its own domain (not a subpath of wishdeal.com)
- It has paying customers
- It has someone (Wes or a partner) running ongoing distribution
- The strategy work from the original dossier is no longer the bottleneck
Graduation is the goal of any catalog idea, but it's also rare. Most ideas in any portfolio fail or stall before they get there. The Factory's job is to give a structured 30-to-40 hour head start; the buyer's job is execution and distribution.
How to get your idea here
Unlock a dossier for $5. Read it. Pressure-test the ICP with 3 buyer calls. If you commit, the operator partnership tier is the fastest way to graduate (we run distribution for the first 90 days). Or build solo with the adopt-tier kit. Either way, when you're shipping with paying customers, email us and we'll add you here.
