Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. You get 14 days of full Growth plan access with no card required. At the end of the trial you can choose a plan or let the account expire cleanly. We do not add charges without your explicit consent.
What happens if I hit my proposal limit on Starter?
You receive a warning at 80% of your monthly volume. When you reach the limit, new proposal generation pauses until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. You keep full access to proposals already created. There are no overage fees on Starter.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're billed pro-rata for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No penalty for either direction.
We operate across several states. Does one account cover all our markets?
Growth covers a single primary market. Pro includes multi-territory management with independent routing rules, team hierarchies, and per-market reporting. If you operate more than four territories, contact us for custom enterprise pricing.
Does Solar AI connect to Aurora Solar, Enphase, or SolarEdge?
Yes. Growth and Pro plans include Aurora Solar design import, Enphase Enlighten monitoring data, and SolarEdge system spec sync. Additional integrations are available via the Pro API. We add two to three new integrations per quarter based on customer requests.
How is customer data handled?
Solar AI runs on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never use your customer data to train AI models or share it with third parties. US and Canadian customers get separate data residency by default.
What is the cancellation process?
Cancel any time from your account settings, no phone call required. Your account stays active until the end of the paid period. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export all proposals and customer data before the account closes.
Is there a discount for nonprofit solar programs or community solar projects?
Yes. Qualifying nonprofit organizations and community solar programs receive 30% off Growth or Pro pricing. Email pricing@solarai.io with your 501(c)(3) documentation or project details and we'll issue a custom coupon code within two business days.
