How usage works

Your plan covers a fixed number of active vehicles per billing period. You only pay more when your fleet genuinely grows -- never for seasonal spikes you can manage down.

Active vehicle definition
Any vehicle
with at least one dispatched job in the billing month counts as active. Parked or retired vehicles never count.
Dispatcher seats
Unlimited
Add as many dispatcher logins as you need. You pay by fleet size, not headcount.
Route runs included
Unlimited
Run the optimizer as many times as you need each day. No per-run or per-stop fees.
Data retention
2 years
Full job history and GPS tracks stored for 24 months on Starter, unlimited on Fleet and above.

Overage policy

If your active vehicle count exceeds your plan cap in a given month, we notify you before the billing date. You can upgrade to the next tier (prorated) or we charge a flat per-vehicle overage of $18/vehicle/month on Starter, $15 on Fleet, and $12 on Operations.

We never cut off dispatching mid-month. Your drivers keep running; we settle at billing. No service interruptions over an overage.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. You get full access to your chosen tier so you can run live routes and confirm the fit before paying anything.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date so you keep access to the higher tier for the remainder of the period you already paid for.
How does the annual discount work?
Switch to annual billing on any plan and you pay 12 months at the annual rate in a single upfront charge. You save 20% versus paying month-to-month. Annual plans can be cancelled within 30 days for a full refund; after that we prorate unused months.
Do you charge per dispatcher login or per driver?
Neither. DispatchAI charges only by the number of active vehicles in your fleet each month. You can add unlimited dispatcher accounts and unlimited driver app installs at no extra cost on any plan.
What GPS hardware do I need?
None if your drivers carry smartphones. The driver app reports GPS location natively. If you prefer hardwired GPS trackers, we support 40+ hardware integrations including Samsara, Verizon Connect, and Linxup at no extra charge on Fleet and above.
Can I import my existing jobs and customer list?
Yes. We provide a CSV import tool and a guided onboarding session on every paid plan. Onboarding specialists help Fleet and Operations customers migrate from legacy software at no extra charge.
Is my data secure and backed up?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We run nightly backups with point-in-time restore going back 30 days. SOC 2 Type II report is available to Operations and Enterprise customers under NDA.
What happens if I cancel?
You can export all your job history, GPS tracks, and customer data as CSV at any time. After cancellation your data remains available for 60 days in read-only mode before deletion. We do not hold your data hostage.
