Does ContractorAI replace my estimating software?
It can, but it does not have to. If you use dedicated takeoff software for complex commercial work, ContractorAI can import that output and layer in your markup and labor formulas. For most residential and light commercial GCs, ContractorAI handles the full estimate workflow without any separate tool.
Is my job data secure?
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Your project files, client information, and financials are stored on SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure. Your data is never shared with third parties, and you can export everything at any time with no penalty.
What if I exceed my plan's project count?
You can upgrade your plan at any time mid-month and pay only for the remaining days. There is no penalty for growing. If a project closes and you drop below your threshold, downgrade at your next billing cycle. We prorate in both directions.
Does ContractorAI work on mobile?
Yes. The daily progress log and change order capture tools are built specifically for on-site use on a phone. Full estimate building is faster on a desktop, but you can review, approve, and send from anywhere. The app is web-based and works on any modern browser without an install.
Can I import my existing rate cards and templates?
Yes. ContractorAI accepts CSV uploads for rate cards and material lists. If you have estimate templates in Excel or Google Sheets, our onboarding team will help you migrate them during your trial. Most GCs are fully set up within 48 hours of signing up.
