Campaign Benchmark FAQ

Clear answers on how white-label analytics help SC agency tenants understand their performance against peers.

Product Basics

What is Campaign Benchmark?

Campaign Benchmark is a white-label analytics module built for Sales Connector agency tenants. It aggregates anonymized campaign data from all SC agencies and produces real-time industry benchmarks. Your agencies see their LinkedIn outreach performance scored against their peer group, with actionable insights on conversion rates, reply velocity, deal velocity, and cost per acquisition. No comparisons to named competitors - only anonymized peer bands and percentile rankings.

How does Campaign Benchmark work?

Your agencies connect Campaign Benchmark to their SC campaign dashboard via a single API key. The system reads campaign metrics (opens, replies, meetings booked, deals closed) from their SC account, anonymizes the data, pools it with other agencies in their vertical and ACV band, and generates benchmark reports. Reports show percentile rankings, trend lines, and diagnostic signals on what's working across the peer group.

Which agencies can use Campaign Benchmark?

Any SC agency tenant can enable Campaign Benchmark for their clients. It works best for agencies running LinkedIn outreach, cold email, or voice campaigns on SC. Agencies with <$2M ARR or <10 outreach campaigns per month benefit most from early-stage benchmarking. Mature agencies ($10M+ ARR) use it for portfolio diversification and cross-vertical insights.

Data and Privacy

What data does Campaign Benchmark collect?

Campaign Benchmark reads only aggregated campaign metrics: reply rate, meeting rate, average reply time, cost per reply, cost per meeting, and win rate. We do NOT collect email addresses, prospect names, company names, or any PII. We do NOT monitor messaging content. Only performance signals enter the benchmark pool.

Is my campaign data kept private?

Your data is fully anonymized before it enters the benchmark pool. We use differential privacy techniques to ensure no individual agency can be reverse-engineered from aggregate benchmarks. Reports show percentile bands and anonymized peer medians, never named competitors. Your specific metrics stay in your SC account and your own client dashboards.

Can my agencies opt out of the benchmark pool?

Yes. Agencies can disable data sharing in Campaign Benchmark settings. They still receive benchmarks but do not contribute their data to the pool. Opting out prevents their metrics from influencing peer averages while still allowing them to compare against industry standards.

Who owns the benchmark data?

Your agencies own their own campaign metrics. The anonymized aggregate benchmark dataset is owned and maintained by you (as the SC tenant). You can use it for customer success conversations, pipeline benchmarking, and sales conversations with prospects. You can also license benchmark reports to your best clients as a premium upsell.

Implementation

How do I enable Campaign Benchmark for my agencies?

Go to Settings > Integrations > Campaign Benchmark and generate an API key. Share the key with your agencies along with a setup URL. Each agency then connects their SC account in under 2 minutes. Metrics start flowing immediately; benchmarks update daily.

What integrations does Campaign Benchmark support?

Campaign Benchmark natively integrates with Sales Connector (automatic via SC API). We also support webhook integration if your agencies use third-party analytics platforms. Zapier automation available for custom workflows.

How often are benchmarks updated?

Metrics sync every 4 hours from SC. Benchmarks recalculate daily. Historical trend data spans the last 13 months, allowing year-over-year comparison. Real-time campaign feeds update within 30 minutes of campaign activity.

Can I white-label Campaign Benchmark for my clients?

Yes. Full white-labeling available: your branding on dashboards, your domain, your custom favicon. You can also customize benchmark segmentation by industry, ACV, or geography. Agencies see your branding only; the benchmark pool remains cross-tenant and anonymous.

Pricing and Tiers

What are Campaign Benchmark pricing tiers?

Campaign Benchmark offers three tiers:
  • Starter ($99/month): Up to 5 agency clients, basic benchmarks, daily updates
  • Growth ($299/month): Up to 25 clients, advanced cohort analysis, custom segments, weekly strategy reports
  • Enterprise (custom): Unlimited clients, real-time feeds, dedicated insights analyst, custom integrations

Can I pass through the cost to my clients?

Yes. Most agencies add Campaign Benchmark as a line-item upsell to their existing retainers ($200-$500/month per agency client). You retain the margin between your SC cost and what you charge. Some agencies bundle it into tiered retainer models.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14-day free trial with all Growth tier features included. No credit card required. Trial accounts can add up to 3 client agencies. After trial, choose your tier.

What if I need a custom tier?

Contact our sales team. We support custom pricing for agencies with >100 client accounts, unique segmentation needs, or dedicated support requirements. Most enterprise contracts include a dedicated success manager.

Reporting and Insights

What reports does Campaign Benchmark generate?

Campaign Benchmark produces:
  • Peer Percentile Report: Your percentile rank vs. peer group
  • Metric Breakdown: Reply rate, meeting rate, deal velocity by campaign
  • Trend Analysis: Month-over-month performance
  • Segment Deep Dive: Performance by industry, buyer role, or outreach type
  • Strategic Recommendations: What high-performers in your cohort are doing differently

Can I export benchmark reports?

Yes. Reports export as PDF, CSV, or JSON. Growth and Enterprise tiers include automated email delivery on schedules you set (weekly, monthly, quarterly). Starter tier allows manual export.

How do I use benchmarks with my clients?

Share benchmarks in client review meetings to justify pricing, contextualize performance against peers, and identify optimization opportunities. Use benchmark findings in quarterly strategy conversations. High-performing agencies often use benchmarks to upsell expanded services or retainer upgrades.

Can I benchmark against a specific competitor?

Campaign Benchmark does not support named competitor comparison. Instead, it shows anonymized peer percentiles, which often reveal your competitive position indirectly. If you need competitor-specific intelligence, we recommend a separate CI tool. Campaign Benchmark focuses on peer dynamics and best-practice identification.

Support and Troubleshooting

How do I contact support?

Email support@campaignbenchmark.io or use the in-app chat. Response time: <2 hours for Growth/Enterprise, <8 hours for Starter. Starter tier support is available Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm PT. Growth and Enterprise include 24/5 support.

What if my SC API key stops working?

Rotate your API key in Campaign Benchmark settings. The system will attempt automatic re-auth within 1 hour. If metrics still don't sync, check your SC account permissions and ensure the connecting user has campaign read access. Support team can help troubleshoot.

Why are my benchmarks showing as "insufficient data"?

Benchmarks require a minimum of 10 comparable peer campaigns to calculate. If you see this message, you either have too few campaigns in your cohort or your metrics haven't accumulated long enough. Benchmarks stabilize after 30-60 days of activity.

Can I backfill historical campaign data?

Campaign Benchmark imports 13 months of historical data from your SC account on first connection. No manual backfill needed. If you've been on SC longer and want older data, contact support for archival recovery (available for Enterprise tier).
