You pair with an accountability partner in a shared workspace. Both work on your own tasks while seeing the other is present and active. Check in with text updates. No camera, no microphone, just quiet presence and focus.
How do I find a partner?
Request a session at your preferred time. We match you with someone in your timezone within 24 hours. You can also invite friends directly.
How long are sessions?
You choose. 30 minutes to 3 hours. Extend or end early anytime. No minimums, no penalties.
Why Text-Only?
Why is text better than video for focus?
Video adds performance pressure. You worry about looking focused, your background, your camera. Text removes that noise. It's presence without surveillance. You get accountability without the performance anxiety.
Is this especially for ADHD?
It helps anyone who struggles with initiation or maintenance of focus. ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, Long COVID. The text format removes barriers that video creates for many neurodivergent people.
What if I need to stim or step away?
Take breaks whenever. Say 'stepping away for 5' and they get it. No need to look engaged. Just type when you're ready.
Privacy
Can my partner see my work?
Only what you share in the chat. Your files, screen, and actual output stay completely private. You just show presence.
What happens to our chat?
Deleted at session end by default. You can download it if you want a record. We never store or read your conversations.
Do I have to say what I'm working on?
No. You can say 'focused time' or keep it vague. Privacy is the point.
