RekinderScore FAQ

Everything you need to know about daily re-engagement scoring

How It Works

What does RekinderScore do?

RekinderScore analyzes your conversation history daily and identifies threads at risk of going stale. For each at-risk thread, it calculates the likelihood that a strategic rekindle message will generate a reply, then surfaces the highest-probability targets with suggested angles tailored to the conversation context.

How does the scoring algorithm work?

Our proprietary scoring engine analyzes multiple signals from your conversation threads:

  • Days since last message and reply patterns in that thread
  • Historical reply rates from that contact across all conversations
  • Message sentiment and topic relevance from earlier exchanges
  • Seasonal and industry-specific reply likelihood factors
  • Optimal timing for rekindle based on contact response patterns

The algorithm was trained on hundreds of thousands of threads from Sales Connector, making scoring signals proprietary from day one.

What is a suggested angle?

Each scored thread includes a suggested angle: a brief note on what message theme or question is most likely to prompt a reply. Examples: "Reference their healthcare expansion" or "Ask about their timeline shift." These are extracted from conversation history and optimized for reply likelihood.

Data & Freshness

When are scores updated?

RekinderScore runs a daily cron at 6:00 AM UTC. Your updated scoresheet is ready each morning. Scores reflect all conversation activity captured up to the previous day at 11:59 PM UTC.

What data does RekinderScore need?

Read-only access to:

  • Conversation thread history and timestamps
  • Contact metadata (name, company, role)
  • Message sender and recipient information
  • Reply and engagement timestamps

No passwords, payment info, or sensitive data are accessed.

How is my data secured?

All conversation data is encrypted in transit and at rest. RekinderScore does not export or share your data with third parties. Data is used exclusively for scoring and model training (fully anonymized). You retain 100% control and can revoke access anytime.

Customization & Accuracy

Can I customize scoring weights?

Yes. You can adjust emphasis on different signals. For example, increase recency weight from 0.5 to 0.8 if your team prioritizes recent messages. Contact us for available customization parameters.

How accurate is RekinderScore?

Across 500K+ historical threads, our scorer achieves 78% precision for high-likelihood targets (score >0.75). This means 78% of flagged contacts actually reply within 7 days of a rekindle message. Precision varies by industry; your accuracy improves as the model learns your team's reply patterns.

What about false positives?

Our model is tuned to minimize false positives. A 22% false-positive rate means some high-scored targets may not reply. That is where suggested angles matter: they maximize odds with each rekindle attempt.

How often should I act on the scores?

We recommend reviewing your daily scoresheet each morning and acting on the top 10-20 high-likelihood targets per day. Most teams find 3-5 rekindled conversations per week yield meaningful re-engagement. Track which angles work best for your ICP.

Getting Started

How long is setup?

Initial setup is 15 minutes: authorize access, review your accounts, and select which threads to score. Your first scoresheet is ready the next morning.

Who do I contact with questions?
