## How I got here

Posted in our SC reseller Slack last Thursday, one of the guys in the #partners channel dropped a link with a one-liner: "anyone tried this?" No context. I clicked it on my lunch break while my daughter was eating a sandwich across from me and asking me why clouds exist. I had maybe six minutes.

## What I clicked first

The hero got my attention with one line: "Weekly Videos That Keep Clients Coming Back." That is a real pain for me. My Monday mornings are basically triage. Which client hasn't logged in. Which one is about to send a passive-aggressive email asking if anything is "actually working." The idea of automating that proof-of-life report as a video, with their logo on it, landed. I kept reading.

## Where I paused

The FAQ answer about zero-data weeks. "The video still generates. It highlights onboarding milestones, congratulates them on launching, or suggests next steps. We never send a silent or empty video. Every week feels like progress." That is either genuinely thoughtful product thinking or it is extremely good copy hiding a problem I would only discover after going live. I actually copied that line into a note to myself. It addresses the exact scenario I would have asked about first.

## What I distrusted

Two things, and the second one is a dealbreaker level of weird.

First: "Clients who see their results weekly renew at 40% higher rates." Where does that number come from? My clients? Sales Connector aggregate data? Someone's whitepaper? The sentence just sits there with no citation, no "based on X resellers over Y months," nothing. That is the kind of stat I have seen on every retention tool's homepage since 2019.

Second, and this is the one that broke the page for me: I scrolled down and hit "Join 200+ Sales Connector resellers using SC Campaign Briefing" in the CTA section. Fine, I thought. Decent social proof. Then I kept reading, got to the bottom, and it says in plain text: "Honest disclosure: we don't have live customers on this idea yet."

So which is it? Either 200+ resellers are using this, or there are zero live customers. Those two statements are on the same page. That is not a small inconsistency. That is either sloppy copy-paste from a template or it is a deliberate trick that hopes most readers bounce before they hit the disclosure. I do not think it is malicious but I also cannot unsee it.

The bottom section also pivots into what reads like a business idea marketplace, with "Unlock for $5" and "Adopt for $99" tiers, which is a completely different product than what the top half of the page was selling me. I had to reread to understand that I was looking at a pitch for a startup idea, not a live SaaS. The confident "Setup takes under an hour. Goes live in one day" framing upstairs does not prepare you for "Estimates only, no live customer revenue claimed" downstairs.

## What would convince me

One real reseller. Not a quote, not a logo. A name, a company, and a screenshot of an actual video that went out to an actual client. Even a Loom from someone saying "I have 12 clients on this and here is what the video looks like" would do more than the entire hero section.

On the revenue side, the $19/month price feels off in a way I cannot fully articulate. That is almost nothing. My Loom subscription is more than that. If this is genuinely doing Remotion-powered personalized video generation at scale, $19 does not cover the infrastructure costs for a reseller with 50 clients unless there are limits I am not seeing. I would want to understand the actual economics before I trusted the "Unlimited client videos every week" claim.

## What I'd ask in an email reply

1. The page says "200+ Sales Connector resellers using SC Campaign Briefing" and also says you have no live customers yet. Which is true right now, and if the answer is zero, can you be straight about the timeline for when the product actually ships?

2. What does the video actually look like? Is there a sample I can watch before I trial this, or does "Watch Demo" go somewhere real?

3. At $19/month for unlimited clients, what happens if I have 80 clients? Is there actually a compute cost I will hit, or is this genuinely flat rate?

## Verdict: on-the-fence

The concept is right. Automated weekly proof-of-value delivery is a genuine problem I spend real time on. But the 200+ resellers versus zero-live-customers contradiction is a trust hole I cannot step over without a straight answer. One honest email from the founder clears this up. Without it, I am not hitting trial.
