# Marcus Delacroix, Founder at Frontline Growth Partners — read of SC Campaign Briefing, June 19 2026

## How I got here

Sales Connector sent their monthly reseller digest. There was a line at the bottom about "new add-ons for retention" and I clicked it because I lost two clients in the last 90 days, both citing "we can't tell if this is working." I was not looking to buy anything. I was venting to myself.

## What I clicked first

The subhead: "Show your clients their results, reduce churn, and strengthen retention through personalized insights." That's the exact sentence I've been trying to say to myself about what I should be doing. So I read on. The hero is clean. Not overcrowded. I appreciated that.

## Where I paused

The 94% average completion rate claim in the FAQ. "Average completion rate: 94%." No source. No sample size. No timeframe. I've used Loom with clients and I'd be thrilled with 60%. A 94% video completion rate would be, genuinely, better than Netflix autoplays. I stopped and read that sentence three times trying to find the asterisk.

## What I distrusted

Two things, and one of them is a real problem.

First: "Clients who see their results weekly renew at 40% higher rates." Same issue. Sourced where, from whom, over what period? This is the kind of stat that gets written on a landing page and then repeated as fact. I've been in agency sales long enough to recognize a self-reported benchmark with no methodology behind it.

Second, and this one actually confused me: halfway down the page it says the product is for "Nonprofit ops leads with annual budget $500K to $10M, fundraising-driven organizations." I'm a Sales Connector reseller. My clients are in insurance and SaaS. Why is nonprofit ops in the ICP section? Did I land on the wrong page? Is this product for nonprofit fundraising orgs or for SC resellers? I genuinely could not tell. Those are two completely different buyers with completely different problems.

Then I found this buried near the bottom: "Honest disclosure: we don't have live customers on this idea yet." But the top of the page says "Join 200+ Sales Connector resellers using SC Campaign Briefing." Those two sentences cannot both be true at the same time. That's not a minor inconsistency. That is either a lie on the hero or a lie in the footer, and I don't know which one.

## What would convince me

Show me one actual client video, even a sample with fake data. I do not need a polished demo. I need to see what the 60-second video actually looks like. Does it feel like a client deliverable or does it feel like a Canva template? The Remotion mention tells me it's code-generated video, which is interesting, but I have no idea what that actually produces at the end.

More specifically: one real reseller, identified by agency name, saying "I sent this to 8 clients on Monday and here's what happened." Not a testimonial quote. A short story with numbers. That's the thing that would make me reply.

## What I'd ask in an email reply

1. The page says "Join 200+ Sales Connector resellers" and also says you have no live customers yet. Which is accurate right now?

2. What does the video look like when a client had a rough week, low connection rates, no replies? You mention it still generates, but does it spin a bad week as good? Because if my clients see their bad numbers wrapped in motion graphics that make it "feel like a win," that's not retention, that's a complaint waiting to happen.

3. Can I see the actual dashboard where I track who watched, for how long? Not a screenshot, a screen share. I want to know if that piece is real before I think about the $19.

## Verdict: on-the-fence

The core idea is right and $19/month is not the thing standing in my way. But the "no live customers" disclosure sitting right next to a "200+ resellers" claim is a trust problem I can't get past without a direct answer. If they can explain that, I'd probably do the trial.
