# Marcus Reilly, Head of Partnerships at Corivo (B2B SaaS, 180 people) — read of Partnership AI, May 6 2026

> 9 years in partnerships, started in channel sales at a telecom, now running a team of 3 managing 40-odd reseller and integration partners. My wife thinks I'm addicted to Peloton. She's right.

## How I got here

I Googled "partnership CRM software" on a Tuesday afternoon after my fourth Slack message that week asking "wait, when does that contract with Nexbridge renew?" I was looking for anything that wasn't another HubSpot workaround or a Notion template some guy sold on Gumroad. This came up in the second page of results. The domain looked legit so I clicked.

## What I clicked first

The hero pulled me in. "No more spreadsheets" is obviously the oldest line in SaaS but it still works on me because I am, in fact, on a spreadsheet. What actually made me scroll was "turn partnerships into strategic assets" -- I've used that exact phrase in a board slide. So either they know what this job feels like or they Googled what partnership people say and pasted it in. I didn't know which yet.

## Where I paused

The pricing. $299/month for up to 10 partnerships. I have 40 partners. So I'm immediately at $799/month for the Professional tier. That's almost ten grand a year. I stopped and did the math before I even read the feature list. That's not necessarily a no, but it means I'm now reading everything else through a "is this worth $800/month" filter instead of "is this interesting."

## What I distrusted

Three things, in order of how much they bothered me:

One: "Designed by partnership operations leaders who have managed hundreds of million-dollar relationships." No names. No logos. No "former head of partnerships at X." That sentence means nothing. I have managed relationships that total hundreds of millions of dollars. That sentence now describes me. It should describe someone I've heard of or can Google.

Two: "AI analyzes partnership health across revenue, growth rate, and engagement." Okay, but engagement from where? What data is it reading? If I don't connect my CRM and my billing tool, what is the AI actually looking at? The page never answers this. It reads like they know what output sounds impressive without explaining the input.

Three: The footer says "Built by Wishdeal Studio." So this isn't a dedicated company with a founding team who lost sleep over this problem. It's a studio product. That's not automatically disqualifying but it does make me wonder who answers the phone in 18 months.

## What would convince me

Show me one real partner manager, at a named company, who tells me specifically what the risk scoring caught that they would have missed. Not "reduced churn by 30%" -- that's meaningless. Tell me "we had a partner who stopped tagging us in deals, the score dropped, we called them, found out their sales rep had left and nobody knew how to log in to our portal, we fixed it, they reactivated." That's the thing I'm actually trying to prevent. Give me that story and I'm leaning forward.

Also: what does the dashboard actually look like? There are zero screenshots on this page. Zero. I'm being asked to imagine a "centralized dashboard" and I have no idea if it looks like Salesforce or like a spreadsheet with blue text.

## What I'd ask in an email reply

1. The AI risk scoring -- what signals is it reading? If my CRM data is in HubSpot and my billing is in Stripe, how does your system see any of that? Is there an integration layer or are you asking me to manually enter numbers?

2. Who is the team behind this? The footer says Wishdeal Studio. Is there a dedicated product team, or is this one of several products you're running simultaneously?

3. Can I see a live demo environment or a real customer's (anonymized) dashboard? I need to see the actual UI before I can evaluate this for $800/month.

## Verdict: on-the-fence

The problem they're solving is real and I feel it daily. But the page answers "what does it do" without ever answering "how does it actually do it" -- and for a tool that claims AI-driven intelligence, that gap is too big to ignore without a demo call.
